COUNSELOR MEDICAL PERSONNEL ACTIVITY FACILITATOR

PREPARATION TASKS MOVING MATERIALS CARNIVAL FESTIVITIES

Assigned to 2-3 campers, a counseloraccompanies the campers to all

activities and resides overnight withthe children in an air-conditionedcabin. They assist with daily living

activities and support the campers todevelop positive relationships, build

self-esteem, and increaseindependence.

These volunteers reside overnight in aconference center or separate cabin

during camp and support an assignedsmall group of campers & counselors.

They are primarily in charge ofcollecting and distributing prescription

and over-the-counter medicationsand assisting with any medical needs.

Share your time and talents byoverseeing an activity (or activities) at

camp. Detailed directions and allneeded materials are provided and 

counselors are present to providesupport to the campers. Roles areavailable for a portion of a day, a

portion of the week, or the entire stay.

Join us in gearing up for camp! Tasksmay include inventorying  or organizing

materials, laminating, shopping forsupplies, preparing name tags, sorting

tees, and more.Dates vary.

Load camp supplies onto a movingtruck, move camp supplies to neededlocations on our campgrounds, and/orunload / store all materials after camp.

Assist in setting up carnival festivities forthe last evening of each summer

session. Roles include setting up andfacilitating an activity (with all materials

organized and supplied), interactingwith the campers, and cleaning up.
