August 2013 Updates: Music fun and more workbooks!

Dylan (Lorraine’s son) decided to join Alma at music class when a group of 3 years old was eventually opened.

They both had a great time and enjoyed the picnic afterwards!

Another week Lorraine and Dylan joined us at the library before the music class and after the class we had a picnic on the grass outside and

read some of the books Alma picked earlier.

We usually go back on the bus straight after music class (there is a direct bus once an hour) but if

we need to do some shopping we might have a free hour to spend

before the next bus, so Alma has a chance to enjoy a babycino!

At the end of the third term Cathy the music teacher was planning a piano concert for her students, and

the little kids were invited to sing a couple of songs on stage. The 3, 4 and 5 years old students worked hard

every week practicing their songs and movements.

Ryan, Zoe, Tyler, Nishi, Sarah, Alana, Alma and Tiffany

“Gallup went the little green frog one day...” Dylan, Alma (wearing her “Disco shirt” and headband), Tiffany, Nishi, Zoe, Tyler, Lucy-Lou and Sarah

Alma has been working hard in her many new workbooks, counting puppies, sticking body parts in pairs and tracing numbers...

Dot-to-dot up to 5, matching amounts, drawing lines and even continuing outdoors!

Alma has improved a lot with patterns and is starting to recognize some English letters

too

While she traces, sticks and counts, she is always

dressed with all the best accessories!

Who said you can’t be brainy and fashionable?!

Alma insists on doing all the tasks herself, which is refreshing after years of

pushing her sister to independence...

Self motivation is such a nice thing!

Give me another sticker or I won’t let you see the next presentation, which

is all about Hahgoot!
