Semesters at home and abroad

Exchange on equivalent semesters abroad

• Many universities abroad do not have teaching in English language.

• Its is difficult to find a semester that has the same contents as yours at VIA.

• Teaching methodology can be very different for example more individual work than group work.

The exchange planning process

• Start as early as possible

• Europe:• Start early in the semester

before you want to go abroad.

• Outside Europe:• Start the planning process

one year before you plan to go. Visa procedures, etc. may take a long time (Australia/New Zealand 3 months).
