Cerro Coso and UC/CSU

While on the WWW, direct your browser to Cerro Coso’s hompage, found at http://www.cerrocoso.edu. Click on Student Services.

From the Student Services page, click on Transfer Center.

Click on ASSIST.

Here you can find all kinds of valuable transfer information and the agreements between Cerro Coso and CSU/UC campuses as well as programs offered at the different campuses. Click on Explore Majors.

Click on Majors.

Click the drop down box in Area of Study and select your area of interest. I chose Psychology for our example today.

Again, I chose Psychology, although there are several choices available on this drop down menu.

From here, I selected Biopsychology, which is offered only at UCSB.

Select Cerro Coso Community College.

Here we see the articulation agreement between UCSB and Cerro Coso which will allow us to look at classes that are required for the major that can be taken at Cerro Coso and transferred to meet those requirements. Click on Major Prep.

The report you will get will look very much like this first page of my report. On the left you see the classes offered at UCSB which are required for your major of choice. On the right, if offered, are equivalents that can be found at Cerro Coso!
