I am a student in my final year of Vanier College studying Office Systems Technology: Micropublishing and Hypermedia. In other words, graphic design for print or web as well as communications.

Over the past three years in this program, I have learned so much, but I know this is just the beginning. I am always looking for new ways to communicate information and ideas, and I’m always up for a challenge!

PRINT

WINE BOTTLE LABELThe objective for this project was to create a piece of abstract expressionist art that would complement the wine. I put my original artwork together with matching typography to create an elegant wine label.

BOOK COVERI made this book cover for “The Handmaid’s Tale” by Margaret Atwood keeping all the key elements of the story in mind. I used symbolism from the story like the rose and the color red in my design to represent the main ideas without giving away the whole story.

BELL “LET’S TALK” AD CAMPAIGNThis ad campaign was designed to illustrate mental health issues in a new, original way. It was kept simple to create one main focus on the page by using a vibrant colour centered on the page, which immediately captures the viewer’s attention.

McGILL ROBOTICS CLUB LOGOThe McGill robotics team was looking for a new logo, so I came up with the idea of taking the silhouette of their main building and making it into a circuit board. The colors I used were taken from the original logo as well the layout to keep its familiarity but still give it a fresher look.

SANTROPOL ROULANT BOOKLET The goal of this project was to create an informational pamphlet for Santropol Roulant, a Montreal-based organization. All the images in the booklet are original vector shapes to fit the client’s limited budget. I used the colors from their logo to give the booklet the brand’s familiar look.

COSMETIC PHOTO REOUCHINGI edited this photo to use it as the main focus on the cover page of a magazine. I’ve done some cosmetic retouching as well as some minor adjustments to the lighting to maximize the photo’s visual impact.

BUSINESS COMMUNICATIONS

LOGO CREATIONFor this project, I created a logo for a fictional travel agency that I named “Round Trip”. I used an umbrella inside a circle made out of an arrow to illustrate the name while keeping the logo simple and modern. The two fonts were chosen carefully to be legible and to complement the logo.

EVENT BRANDINGBack to Basics is a series of parties and events organized by a team. They were looking for a logo to use on their posters and event photos. I designed the logo to be very versatile. It was used on event posters, promotional web documents and even t-shirts.

FORMSThese interactive forms were created with simplicity and legibility in mind. My goal was to create a form that is easy to fill out with appropriate sized fields.

ANNUAL REPORTMoisson Montreal has a very fun and bright brand image that I carried over into my design. The annual report illustrates statistics in a user-friendly, legible way with a lot of vibrant colors to keep the reader’s attention.

WEB DESIGN

MOBILE TRIVIA GAMEIn teams, we had to develop a mobile game using everything we have learned so far. Using jQuery Mobile, we put all of our strengths together to create a trivia game with original illustrations.

WEB PORTFOLIOThis is the website I created for my online portfolio. I wanted to use a clean design in order for my work to stand out more than the webpage itself. I mirrored the styling from my other promotional documents to create a brand image for myself.
