Art Work ShowPart 1: Sketch

After I did graffiti in my childhood, sketching was the first thing I learned about art. Sketching helps me collect and record every interesting things and details in my life. And it enables me to become a better artist.

Part 2: Painting

I enjoy painting, because the types of painting are diversity. I love the colors of the opaque watercolor paintings, and the flowing feelings of watercolor paintings.

Acrylic painting, on canvasBlue Flowers The special thing of this one is that I didn’t use brushes, I only used a palette knife. It was a sudden idea came into my mind, and it was really fun to play with a knife.

Part 3: Portrait

This plaster statue drawing took me about eight hours. After I finished it; I felt a sense of achievement.

A portrait of a young model. This is different from the previous one, this took me one and half hour. I learned how to express the feeling of hair and how to draw people’s characteristics.

Part 4: Charcoal & Collage & Color Pencil

Charcoal, Love, IB Art (high level)

This is the first collage I made, Homesick

Color pencil, Dreaming Rose

Part 5: Mixed Media

Painting on the wood. I used black ink, silver and gold markers to create lots of faces on the four pieces of wood. How many faces do you see?

Band-aid Bonnie. This piece is about friendship between my best friend and me. I created a personal icon( as you see the white patterns), and band-aids represent the helps I got from my friend. I love this piece, because using glass can let the audiences see the art work from different views.
