College Access Standards

• Modeled after ASCA national standards

• Provide framework for college access programming

• Allow organizations to assess their outcomes

CAP Training

• 1 Module = 4 Sessions

• Each module: Approximately 8 weeks, with 4 -6 hours of work per 2 week session

• Sessions include readings, an activity and online discussion

• 20 Professional development hours per module

CAP Training for AZ GEAR UP SCHOOLS

• Special On-Line Course for GEAR UP Schools Only!

• One module offered twice yearly (September and January)

• Earn 20 Professional development hours per module

• 3 online college access modules – a different module offered each year

• Module Two: College, Career and Academic Planning

• Module Three: Financial Aid and College Applications
