• Let’s dive straight into it!
Area of a parallelogram
A parallelogram is a quadrilateral (four-sided shape). Each pair of opposite sides is parallel (they will never touch). All you have to do is multiply height by the base.
9cm is the height. 11cm is the base. 9cm x 11cm = 99cm².
Remember the ² and the unit of measure as you are multiplying 2 measurements.
