A source of financial assistance for students with demonstrated financial need;

Work experiences which complement the participant’s education;

Services that otherwise would not exist to the participating public institutions and agencies.

Objectives of the Work-Study Program are to provide

Complete an error-free Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA);

Must maintain at least 2.0 GPA;Must maintain Financial Aid

Satisfactory Academic Progress(FASAP);Must be enrolled at least half time in an

eligible field of study; All classes must be a part of your

primary major.

Work-Study Requirements

You will be paid minimum wage ($7.79 per hour).

You can work a maximum of 15 hours per week.

As a work study student…

Perform assignments in a serious and responsible manner;

Follow a pre-determined work schedule;Practice prefect attendance and punctuality;Maintain an accurate timesheet;Notify Human Resources,

Admissions/Registration and Financial Aid offices of any changes, i.e. name, address, phone, exemptions, etc…

Work-Study Students are expected to…

You are expected to perform your duties in accordance with the standards established by your department.

You must work at least 10 hours per week, but no more than 15 hours per week.

You are not allowed to work during your scheduled classes.

Performance Standards

As a part of the Work-Study program you will have an ethical responsibility to maintain a certain level of respect for the College, its faculty, staff and students.
