ARDC Party Infrastructure Project

• Objective: – Improve discovery of research outputs and data– Persistently identify researchers and research

organisations using public identifiers– Improve management of public researcher

identity in the research sector– Enable distributed authority control

ARDC Party Infrastructure Project

• Stage 1:– Define research sector requirements for the Party

Infrastructure– Enable exchange of RIF-CS party records with ANDS– End of phase report and options for delivering Phase 2

with recommendations from the Advisory group

• Stage 2:– Adapt People Australia infrastructure to create ARDC Party

Infrastructure– Modifications to identity matching service to cater for

party data from the research sector– Changes Data Administration module to enables

repository and data managers to manage the party data they contribute and to obtain assigned identifiers

– Technical documentation and administrator's guide created
