Iconic concept of the ‘HILL IN THE PARK’ which meets the Trust aspiration for a ‘hospital without precedent’ and has timeless and child-friendly appeal.

Inspired by architecture & historic setting the building merges into landscape

• Garden with quiet reflective seating spaces and play area• Clusters of native trees frame views into park beyond• Mediterranean style planting around a ‘dry river-bed’• Serpentine walk connects garden to quiet play area

• Active garden with play areas and footpaths for exploration• Lush jungle style planting; gunnera, bamboo, ferns, hostas• Coloured paths and timber boardwalks
