Why digital? How we came to embrace electronics to

manage Tier 1.

✖ Paper lessons used a LOT of resources (paper, ink, time) for a staff of 120 & 2,500 students.

✖ Lessons would get “lost” on teacher desks, or exit slips wouldn’t make it back to be counted.

✖ Took a few days to sort out who had/hadn’t completed lessons.

✖ Distribution was tricky (not all teachers check their boxes).

The Problem:

✖ Uses fewer resources.

✖ Streamlines lesson delivery and verification.

✖ Easier for staff to deliver, all they do is click!

✖ Timely results to show effectiveness & if re-teaching is necessary.

✖ Digital timestamp helps with accountability.

✖ Easy to quickly remind staff to deliver the lesson.

Digital Solution:

✖ Can easily show newly enrolled students the year’s lesson to get them up to speed.

✖ Can use as training for new staff to intro them to PBIS.

✖ Can use videos to train staff on ODRs, acknowledgements, etc.

✖ Engaging for most students.

Adding a listThis will walk you through how to create a list and bulk upload using a .csv file.

You can add people manually, but that’s time consuming.

Ask your school tech how to download parent contact information into a .csv file to make this easier for you.
