Every 2 weeks a nurse from the local Health Department comes to school to spot cases of addictions and give specific treatment and guidance – mainly in nutrition and sexuality.

There is a link between School and parents about suspicions of drug use or health problems.

This commission is responsible for:• Drug awareness campaigns;• Information about drugs and related issues;• Prevention and reduction of drugs abuses; • Detection and follow-up of drug users;• Promotion of health in general at clinical and

sanitary level;

This commission is one of 12 institutions dealing with cases of risky behaviours:

This commission is responsible for • the definition, implementation and monitoring

of policies and strategies in the field of Social Reintegration of people consuming psychoactive substances, basing its intervention on humanism principles and centered on the citizen.

• Developing projects at local level centered on prevention campaigns.

Solis is about social inclusion and social reintegration – this Project ended last year and had positive results

- To ensure comprehensiveness and coordination of the rehabilitation resources in all aspects of the individual´s life, in order to develop responsible life projects;

• Technical training;• Psychopedagogical support to students aged 8 to

15 in a preventive approach;• Campaigns in schools and among families and

• Psycho-social support in quitting addiction;• Social and professional reintegration,

providing basic skills in hygiene and social values;
