This asylum challenge was mostly going to be for gags. Well that and a tribute to those mangy little shacks most apocfounders start off in. Point in case, our lovely asylum was to look similar to the Witch’s hut design, even down to the pointy roof. However, I built it far back from the street to add a bit more challenge.

If you recall from the first slide, many of the characters in the asylum are apocalypse founders, with the exception of one, Stewart Armageddon standing in for Willowdanin’sArmageddon apocalypse. Pinstar’s simself was the actual ‘doctor’ that needed to obtain a LTW of being a World Class Ballerina. I think that goal may have been one reason why I lost interest.

However, the main culprit had to be that I was enjoying simply watching the patients day after day and utterly forgetting to take photos. I think perhaps someday I might attempt a redo on this. Until that fateful day, this will have to do.

As I stated, the house design is a call back to how shelters looked once the challenge started. Well, for those that didn’t do a adult start and had plenty of $$$ to build a multi-floored home.

Asylum rules limit to least 1 object per skill, no computer, tv or radio, a limit to 5 bed slots (5 single beds or 3 singles and one double), 6 seating places, 1 accessible stove, and other goodies.Upon reflection, I should have simply put in a stereo in place of the ballet bar and tv, simply for authenticity. The easel couldn’t be helped since it was either that or a musical instrument for creativity building since asylum rules don’t allow computers. The shower is there because , hmmm, not sure why. I think I put it in since I’m only allowed one sink and I thought the rules said you need /limited to a single shower/tub. When playing I do regret the placement of the shower and toilet. Even the sink.I also believe I should have left out the trash compactor and went with a trash can. And also made sure there was only 1 phone in the house.

Looking over the photos, sometimes I do a little scene; in which case I’ll attempt to put as many photos in per slide as possible. For chronological purposes, pictures will be placed in order from left to right, top to bottom aka, like a comic book.

And so it begins. From here on out, I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I hope at the very least you find some entertainment in this.I will also be stretching the pictures to take up as much as the slide as possible, so expect some blurry images.

I am just as curious as you as to who Analis was going to call. Namely because she’s uncontrollable. I’m thinking maybe she answered the phone and the person on the other end was asking for another sim in the house.
