We are two kitty-cats out in the storm.
Won’t someone take us inside where
it’s warm?
Kittens don’t open
their eyes until they
are seven to ten
days old.

stay very close to their mothers
until they are a year old.
6
I am a puppydog, sad and alone.
Please scratch my ears and I’ll
follow you home.
New puppies sleep
almost all the time.
When they are not
sleeping, they are
eating. They grow
very fast the first few
weeks of life.

I’m a rhinoceros.
People are scared of us,
