ANGLES IN CHEERLEADING

This is an obtuse angle. The angle

formed by the girl’s legs is

greater than 90 degrees making it

obtuse.

The angle formed by the girl’s legs

forms a 90 degree angle,

making this angle a right angle.

This is a straight angle because the measure of

the angle of the girl’s legs is 180 degrees.

The two angles formed by the legs and arms of the girl in the front have the same measure and

are opposite each other, making these angles

vertical angles.

The shape of this cheerleader’s

body is similar to that of a linear

pair because her body forms a 180 degree angle. Her

arm protrudes from this angle

forming two separate angles.

The angle formed by this

cheerleader’s legs is less than 90

degrees. Therefore this angle is an

acute angle.

The arm’s of this cheerleader form a 180

degree angle (or line) that is bisected by the torso and legs of the cheerleader.

There for the angle of the cheerleader’s arms has

been bisected.

The angles formed by the

kneeling cheerleader’s legs are both 90 degrees

making themsupplementar

y angles.

The girl in an arabesque on the far left’s legs represent

complementary angles because the stadium line forms

two separate angles that equal 90

degrees.
