They went to school in hopes of

becoming a priest or a scribe.

These two jobs were both paid a

lot so they went to school to

learn how to read and write.

It was very hard to get into a

proper school with real teachers

with knowledge because only the

rich families could afford their

kids to go to the expensive

schools and to get proper

education.
