Data Search
Step 1: Select specific Specialty Group, Administrative (for years before 2015), Midlevels, or All Specialties to report all groups.
Step 2: Select either all specialties or individual specialties within the group. Several specialties can be selected at the same time by using your control key and clicking the needed specialties, or by using your shift key. Selecting All will include Medical, Surgical, and Anest/Rad/Pathology specialties, along with Midlevels and Admin (for years before 2015) positions.
Step 3: To view Academic or Non‐Academic responses only, choose the appropriate teaching data cut now. Or, choose regional data cut for all responses.
Step 4: Select Data Measure and Year. Click Show Data.*Year filter is active only if you have subscribed over multiple years
Step 5: Change selections for Specialty, Region, Data Measure, or Year and click Show Data to change table output as needed. To reset all search parameters, change Specialty Group.Note: Blank table cells in search results indicate no, or insufficient responses to report.
Data Export
Click desired format to export the table.Note: Your browser’s pop‐up blocker needs to be set to accept pop‐ups from physiciancompensation.org.
Export Excel: Open or save spreadsheet. To remove spreadsheet formatting, open and save as file type CSV (comma delimited).
Export CVS: For custom imports by users of MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, etc. Users can customize the import by “pipe” delimitation.
Export Access: Security warnings may require you to enable the content from an unrecognized source (www.physiciancompensation.org) and save the database before proceeding.
