Associations of ALOM
ALOM’s mission is to foster local government in Alleghe-ny County and Southwestern Pennsylvania. As a means to strive toward that mission, ALOM serves as an instrument for 3 respective volunteer-led associations:
The Allegheny County Boroughs Association (ACBA), the Allegheny County Association of Township Officials (ACATO), and the Allegheny County & Western Pennsylvania Association of Township Commissioners (AC&WPATC).
ALOM serves as a source of staff support and liaison for these 3 associations and works to coordinate efforts on their behalf in the public arena in regards to advocacy, policy, and legislation, in addition to assisting in their general operations.

We hope that you will find this publica-tion to be a useful resource that highlights business-es and organizations that provide essential services to municipal governments throughout southwestern Pennsylvania as well as provides convenient refer-ence information.
The Allegheny League of Municipalities (ALOM) works very closely with the vendors listed in this publication, many of whom participate in a variety of ALOM sponsored events throughout the year, most notably during our Annual Spring Educational Confer-ence. The conference is scheduled for Thursday April 7 through Sunday April 10, 2016 and presents a wonderful opportunity to not only interface with the organiza-tions included in the publication, but to take advantage of timely educational topics that are of particular importance to local government elected officials and staff. We hope to see you there!
