pass through Selectively permeable- Some substances make it

through others get stopped

With a partner discuss which type of permeability will most likely be experienced in your cells. Use an example to explain why you are confident in your choice.

access to the organelles or your DNA What sorts of things shouldn’t be allowed into your

Prepare your three solutions using the BEAKERS and pour them into their corresponding labeled cup. LOOK AT YOUR GROUPS SIGN FOR YOUR ASSIGNED SOLUTIONS

Get three eggs for your group. Record the initial mass for each egg both on

the data table AND on the cup it goes in. Place your eggs in the back of the room as

directed.

+With you lab group… Carefully go to the back and collect your cup.

DO NOT DISTURB OTHER EXPERIMENTS! GENTLY remove the egg from the cup and

rinse it off under running water. x3 Record the final mass of your eggs on your

data table. Carefully place the eggs in the trash can. DO

NOT POP THEM! Clean the cups with soap and water and
