Foundation Plan Notes:
The concrete foundation/footing for the anchor assem-blies and the mast tube socket, should be built into theground holes WITHOUT formwork. (If poor or loose soilsare encountered, a larger footing maybe required.) If formsare required, the ground in front of the anchor assem-blies must be well compacted after the concrete is curedand before the net is erected.
All anchor blocks and the mast foundation must be positionedat the same elevation.
All concrete used for footings must have at least a3200 P.S.I. strength. Concrete must cure for at leastthree (3) days before installing the net.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHEMICAL ANCHOR INSTALLATION
1) Surfaces should be clean and free of mois-ture, grease and oil.
2) Mark holes for anchor assemblies.
3) Using a 3/4" diameter drill bit, drill the holes to adepth of 5 1/2" - 5 3/4". Drill the holes perpen-dicular to the work surface. To assure full hold-ing power, do not ream the holes or allow thedrill to wobble (1). Verify hole depth after drill-ing.
4) Clean the holes using oil free, dry compressedair and a wire or stiff nylon brush. Dust anddebris left in holes will significantly reduce theholding capacity of the anchor; several repeti-tions of brushing and blowing are required toobtain a properly cleaned holes. Compressedair nozzle should reach the bottom of hole. (2& 3).
5) Check hole with threaded rod to verify there isno dust in hole. Repeat wire brush and com-pressed air if necessary. (4 )
6) Insert threaded rod in hole and mark rod. (5)
7) Insert capsule into hole. (6)
8) Double nut threaded rod. Hammer threadedrod to bottom of hole. (7) NOTE: A 2 1/2 poundmallet may be needed.
9) Allow resin to cure for the specified time be-fore loading threaded rods (8).
10) Attach anchor assemblies to threaded rod, us-ing 5/8" standard hex nuts with 5/8" SAE flatwashers.
11) Always wear safety glasses. Use only solidcarbide tipped drill bits.

INSTALLATION OF THE NET
Pull the red/white plastic guide straight that serves toguide the mast.
Slide the mast along the red/white plastic guide thru bothsquare rubber mast supports until the mast cap is in-serted into the top of the mast. See page 1.
NO ROPES SHOULD LAY BETWEEN MAST ANDRED/WHITE PLASTIC GUIDE!
Fix the mast head on the mast. Fig. 2 Tools: hammerand block of wood.
The mast head shouldn't go easily into the mast!
(You may have to tape it for installation)
Remove the red/white plastic guide.
Place the bottom of the mast in front of the mast foottube.
Fix a rope near the top of the mast. Fig. 3
Make sure the mast goes through the center of ropestar. Fig. 4
Lift up the mast and support it with a telescoping brace/support. Put the bottom of the mast over the mast foottube.

Fig. 3
DO NOT CONTINUE TO STAND UNDER THE PARTIALLYERECT MAST!
Fig. 4
Grasp only the mast, never the network, to ensure themast head will not be pulled out! Hold the mast duringthe lifting of the net, to avoid the mast from swinging tothe side.
Erect the mast by hand as far as possible, then engagethe ratchet or come-along.

FINAL ASSEMBLY
Make sure the rope mesh network is not twisted andevenly aligned. Apply labels, as shown.
TENSION OF THE NET
If ropes are taut, stress the network by climbing intothe net to align the ropes.
Retighten the net!
As a rule of thumb for proper tension of equipmentproceed as follows: Stand on the horizontal edge
rope. If the rope gives more than 1" you will need totighten the ropes using the tension tool.
INSTALL PROTECTIVE SURFACING
Install protective surfacing to satisfy the fall heightrequirements before users are allowed to play onthe structure.
