Advancing Open Standards in eGovernment using SOA & Web Services

Most Governments are working on solutions to perform online transactions, for example filing tax returns, paying tax, claiming benefits. Often these transactions require interoperability across national agencies and even across countries, and this raises the need for the use of open standards from OASIS and other standards organizations.
