Cuisine of Jammu and Kashmir

The cuisine of Kashmir is very rich. One of the famous meals of Kashmir is the Wazwan.

Wazwan is a formal meal to mark a special occasion.

The dessert is usually Phirni and Kahwah. Kahwah is the green tea, flavoured with saffron, cardamom and almonds.

The best season to visit Jammu and Kashmir is between September and April.

THE CHAPEL BRIDGE

Constructed in first half of the 14th century as a part of the city's fortifications and named after St. Peter's Chapel, which is located nearby.The paintings that were added in the 17th century illustrate scenes of Swiss and local history, including the biographies of the city's patron saints, St. Leodegar and St. Maurice.

The Gurten is a mountain situated just to the south of Bern, the capital city of Switzerland. It is 858 metres high, and the summit yields views of Bern, of the Jura mountains and of the Alps.Elevation: 864 m Prominence: 215 m.
