Why use photo slideshows?
• When you add more than 4 photos to a post it can start to take up too much room on your blog.
• This can be prevented by creating a slideshow using another website and ‘embedding’ it to your post.
• Photo slideshows are also visually appealing and can have music and words added to it like a movie!

There are many websites that allow you to create a photo slideshow and embed it to your blog. Photo Peach is easy and free to use. This presentation will take you through it step by step! First go to the Photo Peach websites...

• First sign up for your free account!

• Pick a username, add your email and create a password. Then click ‘Sign

• Now you’re ready to start making your first slideshow! Just click ‘Upload Photos’.

• A window will appear. Locate your photos and select which ones you’d like.
You can select more than one photo at a time by holding down your ‘shift’ key and using your arrow keys.

You will see this page which will load, the time it takes will vary depending on the size of your files.

You can now change the play order of your photos by dragging and
dropping them. If you want to delete a
photo, just drag it to the right side.

Once you select ‘Next’ this page will appear. You can do a few things at this stage.
Add a title here.Add photo descriptions or captions here. If you put an ‘enter’ after each sentence, each sentence will appear on one slide.
You can add music or select
no music.
When you’re done click
‘Finish’. Don’t worry you can
edit it later.

If you wanted to edit your slideshow then click on edit.

Here you can delete photos, change, remove or add captions and change the speed of your slideshow. Click ‘OK’
when you’re happy.

Hover your mouse over the slideshow. A menu will appear on the right side.
If you’re happy with how your slideshow looks then click on ‘Embed in Blog’.

Copy the ‘Story’ code. We need to add this to our blog post.

Now go to your blog and get ready to add your new post. You need to complete your post like you usually would. Once
we add the Photo Peach slideshow we won’t be able to change anything without starting the post again.

When you’re ready to add you slideshow click on HTML. Don’t change any of your work.

All you need to do it paste in the copied Photo Peach link where you want it in your post. Push ‘Command’ and ‘V’ to paste it. Once it is pasted do not edit your post. Just click on ‘Publish’.
