‘S FRAMEWORK FOR ENJOYABLE LEARNING

learnt that learners need to balance learning and life commitments; need to be listened to ; need to be stimulated, need to overcome bad experiences; need a learning environment that is supportive , welcoming, and enjoyable. JPE found that teachers find it hard to move away from the didactic approach of typical learning.

• Tutors need to be more reflective and see themselves as facilitators of the learning process.

• To develop an enjoyable learning environment it has to be based on a partnership. This involves listening to the needs of the learner and including them in the decision making process.

• We need to use a Learner Based Approach; Use teacher methodologies that are learner centred; such methodologies need to be flexible, interactive and stimulating.

• JPE uses such methodologies such as role-play, projects , investigations and group discussion, and NOT lectures.

CERE Solar power project The radioactive fusion of the sun produces light energy that is captured by roof solar panels and transduced into electrical energy. Solar panels can be now self built cheaply from cells and wired safely at more economic cost.

The radioactive fusion of the sun produces solar infra red energy, thermal energy, that is reflected into the oven and used for slow poaching and broiling. There is room for innovative design to make such ovens more efficient cookers.
