ACTUALITY

Rerecorded segment of a newsmaker speaking, generally lasting from 10 to 20 seconds; this is what people outside of radio journalism often call a "sound bite"

AUTOCUE

(TV Acronym) A teleprompter (also known as an autocue or a telescript) is a display device that prompts the person speaking with an electronic visual text of a speech or script. A device that displays words for people to read.

AMBIENT SOUND

Natural background audio representative of a given recording Environment. On-camera dialog might be primary sound; traffic noise and refrigerator hum would be ambient.
