Classes and Teaching Style• Classes I took:– Global HRM– Staff Relations and Grievance Handling– Service Quality Management– Resource Allocation Techniques

• Classes mainly consisted of one 3hr lecture per week, and were assessed through class participation, individual/group assignment, group presentation and final exam.

Experiences• I travelled to the Philippines, Singapore and a

few places in Mainland China. Although others had been to South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Cambodia and Malaysia.

• HK is famous for it’s nightlife in Lan Kwai Fong and its night markets on Temple Street. It is a city that never sleeps!

• The fund helped me with flights to Hong Kong, my travelling expenses to other countries and my day-to-day living costs.

• With the help of the Neil Hood Memorial Fund I was able to experience a culture that I never thought I would have a chance of seeing. It would not have been possible for me to experience the fascinating and diverse culture as I did without the assistance of the Neil Hood Memorial Fund!
