Our experience with organizations that have gone from Outsourced Payroll to in-house with MIP Payroll: Took forever to get ADP to fix errors they’ve made Setup issues ---- big one with local taxes not being withheld appropriately Very difficult to get them to split costs by grant --- unless there is electronic timekeeping involved Typically higher cost than in-house – as well as escalating costs

Problems with Outsourced Payroll: Nothing happens quickly Often takes forever to get a supplemental check Charges for simple reports that are different from what they normally provide are exorbitant They give you a price to get you on ---- but it goes up exponentially when you need more than what they initially provided It takes bunches of time to get a complex entry into your system Potential for error in that transfer of the entry Typically, they can’t track the dollars as close as needed for the federal grants
