December 1, 2020 is the priority deadline for admission and merit scholarship consideration. Students who complete an application by December 1 will receive an admission decision on February 18, 2021. The final application deadline is March 1, 2021. Students submitting an application after December 1, 2020 will receive an admission decision on a rolling basis beginning in March.

To apply to the University Honors Program, on the admissions application students should select Yes to the question “Are you interested in the Honors Program?” By selecting Yes, the supplemental application will appear on the Application Status Check. The Honors Program application deadline is December 1.

Scholarships offered by the Office of Admissions are typically awarded at the time of acceptance as a first-year student. All accepted students are automatically considered for a scholarship. The scholarship criteria can vary from year to year depending on the quality of the incoming class and the funds available. Students will only receive one merit scholarship from the Office of Admissions but may be eligible for additional financial assistance by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). ADMISSIONS SCHOLARSHIPS
FSU offers admission on a need-blind basis. To be considered for financial aid you must complete the 2021–2022 Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.ed.gov. The application is available beginning October 1, and you should complete it no later than December 1 for priority consideration.
