TheEU-fundedCoordinationandSupportActionSafeandConnectedAutomationinRoadTransport(SCOUT)hasestablishedacomprehensiveandstructuredroadmapforacceleratedinnovationinhighdegreeautomateddriving,i.e.SAElevels4and5.Basedonstakeholderconsultations,thestateoftheartwasdetermined,andafuturevisionforconnectedandautomateddrivingwasformulatedforanumberofusecases.Toclosethegapbetweenstateoftheartandvision,actionplansweredeveloped,andopportunitiestoleapfroghurdleswerehighlighted.
