Arrowtown is a restored mining town full of touristy stuff. It is located by a river that israfted to the Queenstown lake through aseries of whitewater rapids.

Enroute we saw this fence festooned withbras and underwear, and this fence was

about half a mile long!

Queenstown is midway on the South Island.The glaciers are on the west, andChristchurch on the east. A mountain rangeis in the center, and provides spectacular scenery for films, (Lord of the Rings), andthe famous sports activities, often invented

in, and developed in, New Zealand.

Sailing, paragliding, white water rafting, skydiving, bungy jumping, glacier skiing, hot air balooning,rolling downhill in a huge ball - allsafely done, and provided to tourists.
