• An Army Quartermaster instructor is a vital part

of the Army Team. We train the future and present Army Logistician to be intelligent, practical, adept and proficient. We need strong instructors and leaders to complete our mission. As an Army Reserve Quartermaster Instructor you will share your knowledge and experience with new Logistics Soldiers at all levels. Instructors are expected to work under little supervision and to be a self starter.

• The 7th BN teaches MOS and NCOES courses across the Nation. Each year our Brigade teaches roughly 200 classes and over 3500 students from the Army Reserves, National Guard and Active Duty. Our classes are taught at Ft Lee and Ft Pickett VA, Ft Knox KY and Cp Parks CA.

The MOS and NCOES courses we instruct are:

92A – Automated Logistical Specialist 92F – Petroleum Supply Specialist

92G – Food Service Operations 92L – Petroleum Lab Specialist

92M – Mortuary Affairs Specialist 92S - Laundry and Textile Specialist

92W – Water Treatment Specialist92Y – Unit Supply Specialist

• The 7th BN is looking for E5’s thru E7 who are Quartermaster qualified or willing to be re-classified to the 92 series MOS within two years. Soldier’s must also become Instructor qualified within one year of entering the Battalion. Soldier’s must pass the APFT and meet height/weight standards.

What you need to do to become an instructor:

• What you need to do to Transfer:

• Sumbit last five copies (if applicable) of your NCOERs

• Submit copies of your last three DA 705 and your body fat (if applicable)

• Complete a request for transfer (DA 4651-R), signed by you, your Commander and the gaining unit

- If not already, successfully become 92 series qualified. PH 1 is two weeks and PH 2 is two weeks

- Complete Instructor (ABIC) training and E6 and above Small Group Training

- Maintain physical fitness…pass semi-annual PT Test along with height and weight
