the stores didn't have a selection he wanted to buy. Instead he Looked within himself and pulled out a creative tool for putting together ensembles and outfits that his peers admired. While staying active throughout his life by run-ning award winning track he kept his hand in fashion by producing fashion shows and while Attending Lincoln University and majoring in mass communications and English he became the president of the fashion club.

Jenine Cotrice Addison is the mother of the earth child, THE JCOTRICE COLLECTION. Jenine, also known as ‘Cotrice’, was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she grew up watching her grandmother sew. Growing up in Milwaukee denitely put nature as the forefront of inspiration for her work. Cotrice admits to not sleeping much, and believes that her energy and passion for her works of art make it all worth it. Cotrice has done it all, from painting, and sculpture, sewing, crocheting and knitting, she has designed shoes, handbags, men's and womens wear. In 2004, Cotrice was hired to design a line for children made of a paper product pitched to Hewlett Packard. Later, Cotrice linked with photographer Demetrious Noble to create a series of new, modern ad campaigns for the company all donned in paper.

THE COTRICE COLLECTION reveals a fresh new take as we dive into this world of fashion. Mixing vintage styles with current interests, she eortlessly makes bold, classic, and whimsical clothing and jewelry. Whether the inspiration is textile prints, wood, metal, paper, or a new plastic, her depth of cultural knowledge is always apparent. "When I'm interested in a new project, I continue to challenge myself in completing it." A constant search for new ideas and challenges keeps her line ahead of the times. She's a true trendsetter whom stylists and editors are looking for. The energy and creativity of her runway presentations and magazine editorials have turned on the likes of record-

In 2009, Cotrice was inducted into the Milwaukee Public Art Museums Hall of Fame. In 2006, Cotrice was featured in the New York Times as the opening designer in Brooklyn Fashion Weekend’s Premier show. In 2004, she received Designer of the Year Award in Atlanta, Georgia. Since 2004, Cotrice’s cornucopia of art, clothing and jewelry has been sold in over 50 stores across the country, featured on VH1 and the MTV Awards in New York, and has adorned numerous celebrities. The press list for Cotrice continues, as her drive and determination won’t stop here.
