India’s economic security continues to be largely dependent on agriculture sector and
shall continue to be so in near future. It is important to accelerate the agricultural
productivity & also encourage natural resource base of Agriculture for sustainable
production. There is thus an urgent need to address several challenges confronting
agriculture sector to restore its vitality & put it back on higher growth trajectory. In
achieving this, Agrovision in its own limited capacity attempts to showcase the new
tools of science & technology which have started offering tremendous opportunities
for application in agriculture. Agrovision is therefore organizing its sixth edition with
the theme “Innovations in Agriculture”. While all the earlier editions of Agrovision were
a tremendous success, this edition promises to deliver on even larger parameters.
