The 18V32 GD Dual Fuel Cogeneration

Power Plant has been installed on site

since new. The operational facility

specially ordered the power plant from

Wartsila Finland because of its unique

capability to operate on both Natural

Gas & Heavy Fuel Oil.

The power plant has run the last 8-10

years on Natural Gas because of country

regulations.

The Wartsila 18V32 GD Power Plant has

been very well maintained by OEM since

new. Because the facility could not allow

any down time to occur, anything the

plant required was implemented

immediately.

Since maintenance overhaul, the plant

has run only 1 hour and is on standby

mode, ready for a test run at the time of

inspection.

Even though the total lifetime hours are

on the high side, you would not know it,

as the plant is in good condition

internally and externally. The plant has

plenty of lifetime hours left to generate

power for another facility.
