being responsible for about half the student population of any KV

NCF 2005 focuses on child inspired learning which places holistic education and well-being of the learner as the heart of the educational system

As leaders of the Primary section, it is important to have a clear VISION as to what is desirable for the growth and development of the children under our care.

The role is multi-faceted..with many responsibilities….and extensive knowledge is expected - many balls in air – one drops and others follow… there is a need to hold things together

• What does it mean to be a Manager-

Manage day to day duties and activities in compliance with the KVS set up

To supervise personnel and activities

to achieve one’s immediate purpose & goals

What does it mean to be a Leader

a person who leads as a GUIDE

a person who has commanding authority or influence

Someone who can inspire others towards the achievement of goals

A person who accomplishes a mission or task in a way that makes the group more cohesive
