Is it a ship? Is it an island? No, it’s ClubStead – a new city on the sea. With 15,000 square metres of space, there is going to be space for 200 residents. ClubStead is going to have shops, art galleries, a spa, tennis courts, gardens and restaurants, too.
Weather won’t be a problem on ClubStead. High walls are going to protect it from the wind and sea. Designers want to make it mobile, too. Then, in cold weather, ClubStead can move to a warm place.
Would you like to live in a city on the sea? If ClubStead’s design is successful, maybe you will.

Scientists are planning a skyscraper city for the future. The city is going to be 500 metres high, with farms, offices, department stores, schools and residential neighbourhoods. Life in the skyscraper will be very convenient. The 50,000 residents are going to live, work, study and shop in one gigantic building. Inside the skyscraper, the temperature is always going to be 25 degrees centigrade. You’ll never need a coat or an umbrella!
The skyscraper is going to be environmentally friendly. It is going to have its own power station using solar and wind power.
Are you interested? Don’t pack your suitcases yet. There are plans and pictures, but at the moment it is still a dream.
