• Ammunition Availability: The 25mm XM109 will use the self-same
25mm armor-piercing ammunition as the Objective Crew-ServedWeapon (XM307)
Claims
• The 25mm XM109 offers significantly greater lethality than the .50caliber XM107 against C4I SAR targets
– Near term: Penetration potential from optimizing warheadpromises over 1 ½ -inches of RHA at 1200 meters and beyond
