BEST OF SA WINE COMPETITION
VARIETAL VIEWWe’re proud to again shine a spotlight on ‘Eco-Friendly’ producers. Eligible producers will be highlighted in our Festival Passport and with dedicated stand signage. Please express your interest on your booking form.
Pre delivery of exhibitor stock is from Wednesday, 29 January - Friday, 31 January. ACC staff will separate and sort deliveries into refrigerated and dry storage by region. Exhibitors can collect their required stock for each day before the Festival opens. The storage area is open throughout the day should additional stock be required. Leftover stock remains the property of the exhibitor and can be collected during bump out at the close of the Festival.
CDF is laid out according to ‘regions’ consisting of all food and wine producers from each area, with dedicated Beer Garden, Distillery and Fromagerie zones. We see this layout as a distinct advantage, presenting attendees with a wholesome view of each region. The floorplan is finalised two weeks prior to the event and will be forwarded to all exhibitors at this time. While we are unable to guarantee positioning for any region or individual producer; we will consider any special requests submitted in writing.
Pick ‘N Pack allows attendees to consolidate their purchases and arrange delivery direct to their door. We encourage exhibitors to promote this service as a means to achieve greater sales.
The ‘Best of SA’ Wine Competition returns in 2020. We invite all participating wineries to donate two bottles of wine to go towards the major prize. Festival attendees will have the opportunity to enter the draw by completing a visitor survey during the event, with one lucky winner walking away with all of the donated wine.
Participation in ‘Varietal View’ is an excellent opportunity to promote a specific product and gain additional exposure at the Festival. This educational, interactive wine hub is where visitors can sample wines based on varietal rather than region. Visitors will be able to sample participating wines, poured by Adelaide Convention Centre food and beverage staff. After completing their varietal tastings, visitors will be encouraged to visit the participating wineries stands for additional information / purchases.
• Producers are invited to submit up to two wines with tasting notes for Varietal tastings.
• Cost: One varietal - $150; Two Varietals - $250. • Producers are required to provide 12 bottles
of each varietal and tasting notes in order to participate. Any leftovers will be returned.
