MIR Sweeps

• Enterprise wide MIR sweeps began on Tuesday, 11/18

• They are as performance friendly as possible • Let us know if you see any problems

20-Nov-14

4

Patching

• General increase in the number of highly critical vulnerabilities being disclosed or discovered

• The time from a patch being released until an exploit is developed is dropping to days, sometimes hours

• Being able to patch quickly and effectively across all of your managed devices is no longer a “nice to have”

• If you don’t have a patching solution, look into leveraging LITS’ SCCM implementation as a place to start

Why we need to upgrade

• Retain Premier support from Oracle • Introduce new/updated functionality and potentially

reduce customizations • Revisit/revise decisions made during the implementation

• SmartKey • Storing Attachments in the DB • Remove most third-party vendor solutions

• Evaluate opportunities discovered during the recent listening tour

• Re-evaluate current practices in light of known best practices
