Do you want to feel better, have more energy and even live longer?

You know that exercise is good for you, but do you know how good?

◦ Whatever your age, there are scientific evidences that regular physical activity is essential to stay healthy.

The benefits are many. Some of them are:Physical activity controls your weight.

Combined with healthy diet, physical activity is one of the simplest and most efficient ways to maintain a healthy weight.

Boosts your energy.

Exercise helps maintain and increase your muscle strength, improving balance, overall coordination, reaction time and flexibility. Some physical activities even improve mental concentration.

Reduces the incidence of illnesses.

People who do regular activity have a lower risk of many diseases, such as heart disease, type 2 diabetes, stroke, hypertension, cholesterol and some cancers.

Exercise can improve your mood.

Research shows that physical activity can also boost self-esteem, mood, sleep quality as well as reducing your risk of stress, depression and dementia. It´s a good way to switch off.

Exercise can be fun.

Doing exercise can be a fun way to share your free time with your family or friends. Find a physical activity you enjoy, and just do it. If you get bored, try something new.

To sum up, exercise and physical activity are a great way to feel better, gain health benefits and have fun. I would recommend it to everyone at least three times a week.

However, your exercise should be checked by a doctor or a personal trainer, especially if you have any health problem.
