In November 2012, Vascular Vein Centers brought the latest technology and vein treatment to a Dominican Republic Hospital, ushering one of the few modern treatments for venous disease in that nation. During the mission trip, they changed the lives of 12 men and women suffering from debilitating venous diseases.

• Surgical - 77 patients, 105 surgical procedures• Vein - 11 patients, 56 procedures• Dentistry - 178 patients, 193 procedures• • Total - 266 patients, 354 procedures

Batey- “Sugar Workers’ Town”

•200 Batey’s located throughout DR•No Electricity•No running water•8th grade education for kids(must be sponsored to go further)•$3.00 per ton sugar cane harvested•Manual process- use machetes

•Recent birth 12 y/o- club foot Sent home w/ child. Rely on volunteer/mission for correction
