I love yearbooks and this one is particularly important to me as it is the first time I have the privilege of writing a note and appearir

on this page as Head of School. I like it. (I hope lm doing a good job.l

Many of the special events from the year are featured in this Yearbook: the First Day of school. where we played outside in our ne

playground; the Terry Fox Run, (I admit, I walked); Halloween, where we danced on our outdoor stage and I was just one of several

Harry Potters!; Raptor N ight, the mascot came and visited our section because you cheered so loud; our athletic teams wins and loss1

lots of wins!; the Holiday music assemblies with such great music and spirit; the awards and appreciation assemblies. A ll of these

events were wonderful to participate in and made me proud to be Head of such a terrific school. Thank you for including me and

making me feel welcome!

·om the early days of September to the final days in June, you and your teachers were engaged in exciting inquiry as your classrooms

eyond the walls of the classroom, you all had the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities such as Student Council,

·imary and Junior Choir, Glee Club, ISMF, Geography Club, After-Four Programmes, UlO and Ull sports teams, sports development

inics, the Terry Fox Run, the Oochathon and Sports Day. Your classes ventured out on trips to the reservoir, the theatre, the TSO, the

:ience Centre, the ROM, art galleries, the Brick Works, Ramsden Park, Horseshoe Valley and Camp Oochigeas.
