SECOND CHALLENGE TO STUDENTSMatch the following descriptions to each

slide shown earlier.1) One of the harshest and coldest

biomes on Earth, it is a treeless region which is covered by much snow.

2) It is a boreal forest of average temperature below freezing level during winter months.

3) It is a semi arid grassland between Eurasian mountain ranges.

4) It is a range of mountains extending from Pakistan to Afghanistan.

5) Regarded by Hinduism followers as sacred, people bathe here to cure diseases. They also spread ashes of the dead here to symbolize journey to next life.

6) It is the world’s largest bay and its shores belong to Sri Lanka, India, Myanmar, Thailand and Bangladesh.

7) The world’s 11th largest river, it runs through five countries namely China, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia and made possible the building of the famous Angkor Wat.
