The product of any factor and 1 equals the factor.
23 X 1= 23
5.67 X 1= 5.67
Commutative Property of Multiplication
When multiplying, the order of the factors does not change the product.
5 X 15 = 15 X 5 = 75
Zero Property of Multiplication
The product of any factor and 0 equals 0.
25 X 0= 0
5.12 X 0= 0

The way factors are grouped does not change
the product.
