1st China-Canada Symposium on Structural & Earthquake Engineering
Background
Page 1
Since 2008, Tongji University and the University of British Columbia have been working together as astrong alliance to collaborate on earthquake engineering research. They have created the Tongji-UBCsymposium, which is held bi-annually, for students, researchers and industry professionals to exchangeideas. This symposium has grown significantly to over 180 participants from 26 Chinese and Canadianuniversities. The forum has been renamed as the 1st China-Canada Symposium on Structural andEarthquake Engineering (CCSSEE). The forum provides an unique international and multidisciplinaryplatform of communication and discussion, followed by a series of technical sessions and 3 MinuteTheses (3MT) from graduate students in all disciplines of structural and earthquake engineering.
