19D MACHU PICCHU + GALAPAGOS CRUISE TOUR

Day 1 Singapore – Lima(Meals onboard)
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to
Lima. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 Lima(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Visit Cathedral of Lima, it was consecrated as a basilica in
1625. We will continue to visit Convent of San Francisco,
the church and convent are part of the Historic Centre of
Lima, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List
in 1991. Next, we visit The Larco Herrera Museum that
display the collection of archaeological pieces acquired by
the founder of the museum Rafael’ Larco Hoyle.
Day 3 Lima – Puno(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Puno.
Visit the floating islands of the indigenous Uros people on
Lake Titicaca where you will learn more about their
costumes and traditions.
Day 4 Puno – Cusco(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Departure towards Cusco, you will be able to admire the
wonderful landscape of the altiplano and Andean mountains.
Next, we will stop by Pucara and visit the Museo Litico de
Pucara a city famous for its pottery. After lunch, we will go
to the archaeological site of Racchi which the highlight is the
Wiracocha Temple. Before we reach Cusco, we will visit
Andahuaylillas, which main attraction is its baroque church
known as "The Sixtine Chapel of America" because of the
magnificent frescos that decorate its walls.
Day 5 Cusco – Machu Picchu(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
This morning, we will first visit the Indian market of Pisac
where handicrafts are sold. Next visit the salt works of
Maras, to which some people call "salt mines" are
constituted by about 3000 small pools with an average area of
5 m² (53.8 ft²), constructed in a slope of the "Qaqawiñay"
mountain. Continue to Ollantaytambo; one of the last sites
built by the Incas before the Conquerors arrival.
Day 6 Machu Picchu - Cusco(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Ascension by mini bus from Aguas Calientes by a
vertiginous climb that will lead you to the site Machu
Picchu. Located at 2400 meters above sea level, Machu
Picchu is made of stone constructions spreading itself on a
low and narrow hill, delimited by a cliff of 400 meters, a
canyon giving on the Urubamba River. In the afternoon,
return to Ollantaytambo station by train.
