Please be reminded that the Foundation and Key Stage 1 Sports Day has been rescheduled for Thursday 22ndJune from 9:30am. We look forward to seeing you there. The cookery workshop with Community Chef Robin Van Creveld at West St Leonards Primary Academy is underway and so far the attendees are enjoying it. The workshops allow families to work together to make delicious and easy dishes from around the world, as well as eat together as a family. Last week the families made smoothies, cheese scones and a soup/stew dish. It looked and smelt fantastic!
On Friday 23rd June we have lots of exciting events taking place. We are inviting Grandparents to come and visit the school and see children’s work from 9:15-11:00am. Later in the afternoon from 3:30-5:30 we will be holding our Summer Fayre in the back playground. There will be cakes, stalls, games, a BBQ, raffle, bouncy castle, performances and refreshments. As part of the Summer Fayre we are holding a raffle to win one of 7 hampers. Each year group has been assigned a colour for the contents. We would like to ask for donations of gifts in your child’s given colour. Please give any gifts to the class teacher so they can be added to the hamper. Thank you in advance for your support. Raffle tickets to win one of the hampers are now available at the main office. They cost 20p each or £1.00 for a strip of 5.
