thought out and placed throughout the site.● Visualization of pictures sprinkled through
the event give you a sense of what it would be like to attend.
● In addition the site renders quite well through different responsive design break points.

3. ICON● Great imagery of the site.● Concise menu bar that isn’t too cluttered.
Clear and clean view of the conference agenda.
● Bold introduction to the event.● Great color palette.

4. MozCon● Awesome color palette.● One page design that gives you a lot of great
information.● Video embeds are great promotional pieces
that be used in several forms.

5. INBOUND● Large high resolution speaker images that
aren’t set up to look like a strict grid.● Dark color theme that works well and doesn’t
feel negative or sad.● Love the linear agenda.● Hubspot built their business around inbound
marketing, and the reminder on the bottom right is a great example of it. The form at the bottom of the homepage as well is a great way for prospective attendees or sponsors to share their information after they read everything (and its on every page!).

6. Adobe Summit● Super clean design that focuses on the
message.● Breaks up information into digestible chunks
(instead of lengthy paragraphs users are presented to a couple of sentences).
● Why attend is a powerful section to really explain why the event sets itself apart from the rest.
● In-depth speaker profiles allow for a great way for prospective attendees and sponsors to learn more.

great way to generate buzz about your event.● Every speaker page looks phenomenal

the design.● Ticket prices are presented right away for
users to not guess and wonder.● Nice one page design.● Straightforward lead generation form at the

the design.● Registration page doesn’t feel disconnected

their SEO (this gets overlooked to often)● Registration is always just a click away with
the use of the ‘Ticket’ button in the top right.

11. Bulgaria Web Summit● Excellent use between pictures and flat
design providing a clean and modern experience.
● Parallax scrolling (where background moves slower than the foreground) isn’t obnoxious and distracting from the design.
● ‘Memories of 2014′ is a great way to give prospective visitors a chance to see what they are missing out on.

12. Future of Web Design● Countdown at the top of the page creates a
subtle urgency and excitement for the attendees and sponsors.
● Speaker images that don’t look boxed in or boring.
● Illustrations are unique to the site and makes the design feel fresh and new.
● Persistent menu button makes it easy for the visitor to quickly hop to any section of the site immediately.
