)285( Next Paul proclaimed to the philosophers in Athens that Jesus’ resurrection proved that

as the Word of God He will judge the world 24

(286-289 )Jesus told Paul to stay in Corinth for a year and a half and lead many Spirit filled disciples –

And he wrote 2 letters to the disciples suffering persecution in Thessalonica about Christ’s return 25

)290-291( Paul left Aquila and Priscilla in Ephesus and returned

to report in Jerusalem and Antioch 26

trying to use the name of Jesus to cast out demons and the

disciples in Ephesus burned their sorcery books 30

)294-297( Paul wrote to help the disciples in Corinth on Spiritual Gifts but a riot broke out against Christians at the temple of Artemus which held

the philosophy on the Word of God so Paul left Ephesus for Macedonia and

then wrote again to Corinth 31

)301-302( The Jews had Paul falsely arrested in the Temple but Jesus told him that in this

way he would proclaim the Gospel in Rome 33

(303 )Paul was imprisoned in Caesarea for 2 years and testified about the Gospel

before King Agrippa and the Roman governors 34

)304( Paul was sent to testify in Rome and was shipwrecked on Malta but the Roman guards saw Jesus heal everyone on the

island through Paul 35

)305-313( Paul was imprisoned for 2 years in Rome also where he testified to the household of Caesar and wrote letters about Christ’s power and glory

since the beginning of creation to encourage the disciples in Ephesus, Philippi and Colossae but when Paul

was released the high priest killed Jesus’ brother, James the Just, in

Jerusalem – So how can God’s Promise to bless ALL NATIONS

through Jesus ever come true when leading disciples were now being

imprisoned and killed?36

Christ’s authority

)316( And Paul appointed new leaders for the disciples in each city

and had Timothy lead in Ephesus as he returned to visit Macedonia 39

But Rome was burned in 64 AD and emperor Nero blamed the

Christians so terrific persecution broke out again 40

)317-322( Paul wrote to Timothy and Titus as leaders & Peter wrote to exiles from Nero 41

The Authority of Scripture)2 Timothy 3:16( All scripture is inspired of God and good for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness)2 Peter 3:15-18( Paul wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. His letters contain some things that are hard to

understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.

Therefore, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless.

)Hebrews 4:12-13( For the Word of God is sharper than any double-edged sword. It penetrates even to dividing soul and

spirit. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him

to whom we must give account.

)327( So Christians were brutally executed by Nero but Jude the brother of Jesus also

warned of false disciples 45

Then in 70 AD Roman general Titus destroyed Jerusalem and the Temple as Jesus foretold

but the Christians fled to safety when they saw the signs Jesus

gave and were spared 46

And the plunder that the Romans took from the Temple is still

displayed in Rome on the Arch of Titus that was built in 82 AD 47

It was 25 years later that the Apostle John was imprisoned at Patmos

( 328 )And there John was given the vision of Revelation showing the fulfillment of God’s Promise

and His Kingdom as blessing ALL NATIONS as foretold 49

And Jesus appeared in transfigured glory and reminded 7

churches to remain faithful and then Jesus crushed Satan in

Revelation 19 as the Word of God 50

And John saw people from every nation, tribe, people and

tongue before God’s throne ascribing salvation to Jesus –

So the vision ends saying “Amen Come Lord Jesus!” 51

(329-331 )After John was released from Patmos he led the disciples in Ephesus and wrote 3 letters – In the first letter Jesus is

called the Word of Life and the disciples are commanded to love

one another for God is Love 52

)332( John then wrote in the Gospel of John that Jesus was the Word and the Word was God and

that all these things have been written that you may believe that

Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and have life in his name

The tomb of the Apostle John remains in the city of Ephesus where ancient

philosophy on the Word of God began and was held sacred until the time when Jesus

Christ the Word appeared

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him should

not perish but have everlasting life – John 3:16I am come that they might have life and that they

might have it more abundantly - John 10:10
